Only recently bear I really enjoyed the kind of SEO accomplishments to facilitate you read about. The kind wherever individuals start penning ebooks zealously in order to cash in ahead of the next Google slap…

The kind where you start having visions of being able to retire to an island somewhere…

The reality of the matter is to facilitate the secret to amazing SEO accomplishment is no big secret at all. High PR Backlinks do the job each and every time. It’s just a matter of identifying an adequate number of these and spending the time to place your family with your keywords or keyword phrases as commentator text.

The critical thing is to make sure the links are posted in an area where they are Do Follow.

You will hear several myths concerning placing your backlinks which ought to be debunked:

The sheet you publish the link to has to have a High PageRank and not simply the domain itself. If the sites homepage has a high PR, the SEO juice will pass to your site regardless of the PR of the page your link is on.
You can’t rank for keywords which your site doesn’t include sufficient density for. Not really. If this were correct, you wouldn’t notice any YouTube videos ranking for their tags. Just put up an adequate number of your links with anchor text and you will rank!
Your backlinks are required to come from applicable sites or they are worthless. Google knows that links occur haphazardly. It’s adequate that the links are coming from High PR sites. They know that individuals possess varied interests, so they are simply looking in lieu of volume. The benefit you pick up from place relevancy is that individuals exposed to the links are more likely to click.
Sites on the first page of Google all include thousands of inbound links and it will take you years to catch up. Some do enjoy thousands of backlinks, but you don’t have to compete with that. You are simply competing with webpages having the exact same keyword or keyword phrase as anchor text.

If you look for High PR Web 2.0 Community websites you will locate a ton of websites you can publicize your links. You will regularly be placing them in your profile in a section with a heading something like “About Me”. It does take some time to set these profiles up, as you will usually want to upload a profile pic and add particular personal info to escape being banned for link spam. Many of these websites are getting very agressive about deleting link spammers, so be sure to take the few minutes necessary to make your profile look fairly complete.

Pay special attention to the sites which let you produce blog posts. This is a fantastic place to place articles and have no limit to the amount of links in each post. Again this will take some time investment, but the main detail is that these backlinks will last a long time, and so will your Google rankings!

Keywords are an important function of Internet marketing. The use of a specific set of keywords or phrases can help a website earn better rankings with search engines, but how much is too much?

A friend of mine was asked once to provide content for a website where the key phrase had three words and that key phrase had to be used ten percent of the time. In other words, for every 100 words written the phrase has to be included 10 times. To put that in perspective the article could only have seventy original words in one hundred because the other thirty words were tied up in the mandatory use of a key phrase. My friend turned the work down.

Why?

Because he understood that the only way to write content with a key phrase count that high would be to stuff the article and force the use of the key phrase even when it would not be normal to do so.

Perhaps you have been to websites that have content that are filled to overflowing with a particular keyword or phrase. The articles are no fun to read and can’t really be considered knowledge-based. These articles are, in fact, only present for the benefit of search engines.

Most experts indicate 4-5 keywords or phrases per article or 2-3% (whichever allows for the most use). Essentially you should not use more than 3 keywords or phrases per one hundred words.

If you do work with a freelance writer make sure they understand that you are more interested in a quality article than in making sure an exact number of keywords are used.

Some online businesses will also request that a freelance writer they are working with include any common misspelling or word separations that might be used when searching online. The reason some businesses request intentional misspellings is that if a potential customer types in the word incorrectly then the business may show up well in the rankings for the misspelling.

I’m not sure I recommend this, but if you come across a site with a few misspellings it is possible the mistake was intentional.

You have to remember when you write or have articles written you are attempting to reach your customers just as strongly as you are search engines.

Internet marketing is an important component to the overall success of your online company. Make sure keywords or phrases allow your Internet marketing to succeed by concentrating on your customer no less than you do SEO strategies.

Keywords… always keywords! It’s amazing how much of a headache they can be. You spend hours and hours researching, planning, making lists, and calculating keyword density, for what? To be successful online, to reach those high SERPs all webmasters and online entrepreneurs dream about: to be number one.

You are ready to pay the price; you are ready to choose a company that promises you top ten results guaranteed. Guess what? There are no warranties; there is no keyword secret formula. You want to be number one? That’s hard to achieve, but not impossible. You can do it on your own. You’ll need to learn a lot, to work day and night, to invest your time in this effort. But you will succeed.

So here you go: choose your keywords wisely. Use them even wiser.

To use keywords means to introduce them into the content of your web pages in a natural manner: not too many, not too few…

Is there a keyword density secret formula? Nope.

There are, however, some guidelines.

No keywords = no placement in the SERPs (search engine result pages). No placement in the SERPs = no traffic. No traffic = no revenue. No revenue = you don’t have a business. So invest time and effort in choosing and using keywords.

It is important that your keywords appear in the META tags (page title, meta title, meta description, meta keywords) and the content of the page. However, too many keywords could get your site penalized for spamming. Too few… bring no results.

Each search engine places different importance on keyword density. Google requires a maximum of 3%, Yahoo! needs a 5-6%. Is it safe to go beyond Google’s guidelines? Not really. Then what? Place importance on the keyword modifications: bold, italic, type size, underline, highlight, hyperlink. Take care where on page you place the main keywords: the heading, at the beginning of your first paragraph, at the end of the last sentence of your text, in subheadings, in hyperlinks and so on. You do this in a natural, readable manner and you cannot fail.

So don’t target too many keywords or keywords phrases: one or two will do. You could even target three if you have a lot of content on one page, but not more. Don’t optimize your page for fast results, but for lasting results. Pay attention: if you want to be competitive, focus on one keyword per page and keep its page density to the minimum.

You have a public relations website. Then “public relations” is your keyword phrase. Start optimizing for it. Create sub pages to support the home page optimize those for keyword variations and some related low competitive keywords. Keep your content simple, relevant, useful…and don’t stuff it with keywords. That’s all you need to know about keyword density.

Not convinced? How about this: Google will change its algorithms soon. Why don’t you run a keyword density checker on your website and have a chat with your SEO team or expert? You wouldn’t like Google to ban you for keyword stuffing, would you?

p>Keyword stuffing is a “Black Hat” technique. Cloaked pages, keyword stuffing and hidden text are just some of the techniques tried by many webmasters which are unapproved methods by search engines. One of the most widely used techniques is what is called keyword stuffing; this is defined by repeating the same word again and again in the Meta tags or main the main body of the site.

Sometimes SEO experts go too far in their desire to push their clients’ sites to top positions and resort to questionable practices, like keyword stuffing. Black hat SEO involves old tricks and some new ones that have become widely used in search engine optimization. If you choose to hire an SEO company that is trying to stuff extra keyword phrases into this tag, I would be concerned about this because in the long run this type of SEO technique will not hold up. SEO is the process of optimizing web pages for keywords and key phrases so that they rank highly in the results returned for search queries. SEO tactics are not always honest this has spawned the negative aspects of SEO. Keyword spamming or stuffing is just the tip of the iceberg.

Some firms use methods called invisible keyword stuffing. What is invisible text? Invisible text is text with the same text color as the background of the pages. There are many ways to make text invisible. One of the ways of using invisible keywords is by making the keywords the same color as the page; if the page is white you make the text white. The text or a link is invisible to the naked eye on a web page, but are seen by spiders. Since the invisible text is read by the search engine crawlers the text or keywords are picked up and indexed. Invisible keyword-rich text in page code is old news to search-engine spiders, they are more advanced and can recognize when a page is using keyword stuffing. The other types of black techniques are content spamming which includes meta tag stuffing and implementing gateway or doorway pages.

Some older content on websites could be considered keyword stuffing due to overuse of the keywords. Yet a website’s content still plays an enormous and fairly direct role in search engine ranking. Add new content or webpage’s daily or weekly to increase a search engine spider’s frequency. Web content keyword optimization is one of the most important step in SEO. Make sure your site is full of unique, high-quality content. Make sure your meta keywords and meta description tags reflect the true meaning of your site and is not simply hidden keyword stuffing. When search engines index the content, the content will be analyzed by the search engine, it could be interpreted as an unapproved technique which will then get your pages de-indexed. Content is the most important part of optimizing your web site for search engines. Try to write the content naturally for the readers rather than the search engines. Good content brings return visitors who may eventually link to your site.

If you are going to promote your website you should stick to white hat SEO methods and recognizing that the black hat SEO tactics which are quick and dirty techniques will not help your business in the long run.

We’ve been discussing driving traffic to your list building page by using articles, and it’s an incredibly important concept. If you do not learn how to drive traffic to your list building or squeeze page, you… will… fail. I guarantee it. So, let’s expand more on using articles to get traffic.

How can you make articles “search engine friendly”? Getting your page to the top of the search engine results pages increased your list building power exponentially.

First, get a list of keywords together and keyword phrases. Got to Overture.com, use their search tool and check to see if there were many searches on your keywords for the previous month. Use any that have a search rate of 500 or more, but the higher, the better.

If you search “list building,” for instance, you’ll get results that include “opt-in list’ and ‘email list building.” You will have a hard time competing with some of the highest-ranked keywords, so choose some that aren’t searched as much to make it easier on yourself.

Let’s say you choose the phrases “list building” and “opt-in list building,” as an example.

In the body of your article, go about telling people how to build a substantial list and use the phrases list building and opt-in list building throughout. Just be sure that what you write sounds natural to your ear. Otherwise, you’ll be accused of “keyword stuffing,” and that can get you banned from the search engines. You really don’t want that.

Then, in your resource box, you’ll use your keyword phrases again, like this: Joe Smith is an affiliate manager and a list building ninja. Let him show you how to build a great opt-in mailing list at his website http://listtechniques.com

How do you know if the density is too high or too low? The guideline for the entire article, including the title and resource box is 2 to 5%. But how can you tell?

There are a couple of free keyword density analyzers online where you can input text and find the information you need. You can search for “keyword density analyzer” and come up with a bunch, but most of them are for pages already online. You want one that analyzes text. Then, plug in the text of your article and the analyzer tells you how high or low your density is.

When you find the density to be too low, add some keywords if you can without making the article sound dumb. Or, take out some text you don’t need.

If your keyword density is between 2 and 5%, you’ll all set. Check spelling and upload your article to a directory. Pretty soon, you’ll have traffic driving to your list building page, and you’ll be building that list in no time!

Keyword density is a calculation of the number of times the selected keyword appears on the web page. Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page. Generally speaking, keyword density is the ratio of the word that is being searched for (the keyword) against the total number of words appearing on your web page.

Suppose you have 100 words on your webpage (not including HMTL code used for writing the web page), and you use a certain keyword five times in the content. The keyword density on that page is got by simply dividing the total number of keywords, by the total number of words that appear on your web page.

If a particular keyword has a higher density on your web page, then the likelihood of your page obtaining better search engine ranking increases. For example, a visitor who is looking for information on “Search Engine Ranking” may search for things like “search engine positioning”,” search engine ranking”, “search engine placement”, “keyword density”, “top ranking”, and the like. After you have collected your list of keywords, do NOT simply dump those keywords into a senseless list on your web page.

Simple steps to check the density:

Copy and paste the content from an individual web page into a word-processing software program like Word or Word Perfect. In addition to keyword density calculations, it verifies that your site is not overloaded and that it has the correct distribution of profitable keywords in the most critical locations. Using the total word count for the page and the total number of keywords you can now calculate the keyword density. Once your page closely matches the keyword density in all categories/tags you have likely designed a page that will most probably score in the top of the search engines.

Some search engine marketers weights deemed as “negative”. I found many of these documents belonging to search engine marketing and optimization (SEM, SEO) specialists. There is also a different level of tolerance between the different search engines as to the degree of density permitted before a penalty is imposed.

Keep in mind that the search engines are constantly changing their relevancy criteria when scoring pages for keyword relevancy. This information can sometimes be found

in information bases pertaining to each search engine.

Every Search Engine has its own techniques for scoring pages and you must first learn what analysis options are important for your selected Search Engine before designing your page and get a successful scoring.

The various search engines, including Google, Yahoo, and MSN Search consider keyword density as part of their search algorithm. Search engines today are measuring keyword density as a factor in assigning relevancy ratings to web pages. On the other hand, if your keyword density is too high then the search engine may penalize you for “keyword stuffing”.

LSI is changing many of the the search engines ranking factors these days, so in reality

there is not much knowledge on how long a ranking factor like keyword density will be an issue.

Davin Ogden has various websites on the internet. Davinatorbiz.com provides you with all the tools and proper learning information on LSI, serious seo strategies, and improving your search engine ranking to give you the results your after in the search engines.
